3 weeks, 6-1/2 days post-op TKR I sort of feel like today is graduation day on several levels or, maybe just a really good turning point day. I've been fully mobile (no walker, no cane) since the beginning of week 2. I'm currently at a 102 degree (out of 120) bend as of this morning @ PT, which I'm happy with. Also, I drove home from PT today which means DH can stop playing chauffeur for me. (He was happy to be relieved of duty…LOL). I'm really supposed to wait until week 5 to drive, but I ditched the narcotics on day 4 and I have plenty range of motion for the gas/break pedals. I also go back to work tomorrow on a hybrid schedule, so I can get a bit closer to "back to normal." Several people have asked so I thought I would do an update. I'm so happy to be on the coasting side of this 1 year, 4 month process. Outside of PT, I'm SO DONE WITH THIS and I'm ready for things to get back to normal!

I'm the same way. I get quiet and go dark when dealing with heavy stuff.
Congratulations. I totally missed that you were having TKR. Your progress is remarkable. Prayers for pain free complete range of motion.
