Horrific school bus incident in Dayton

How is a school bus involved in this ?

FRUGAL : I consulted the Google for more info. It was a Dayton ISD bus and the driver was arrested according to ABC13 and other local news stories. Seems as though Dayton ISD would be covering these expenses thru insurance claims and settlement.

The boy was walking to school at 6 a.m. Was a hit and run victim of a 70 year old male driver who was arrested at 6 p.m.Apologies for not doing this accurately.

The medical bills for the boy could easily exceed one million dollars.

FRUGAL : I'm sure the lawsuit will be filed by very soon, I'm sure. The arrest will help prove liability of the employee of the school district driving the school district bus. Many levels of insurance are in place to cover liability and medical expenses. It will likely settle way before trial.

Fiddledede :
It's crazy that he did not stop and render aide. Yep, big lawsuit.

UPDATE Brantley passed on October 24.

this was discussed last week...very sad.....
