Cbear : my question is how many Littles will have to die before people wake up, this should be a no-brainer. you cannot protect them from the twits texting and driving or driving drunk or just not paying attention, so why allow them in harms way? Can't wrap my brain around this kind of widespread stupidity.

Age limits, registration, licensing, and required safety course. Motorcyclists have to wear helmets, etc. These e bikes can go pretty fast. Some are not bicycles at all. Lol a Motorcycle that's street legal is different from trail bikes, dirt bikes, and mini bikes. I remember when those minis came out. I saw the same ****. Same accidents. Same with golf carts, should actually have a license to operate with age limits.

I saw a child that looked to be about kindergarten age on an electric scooter on my street yesterday. I had to do a doubletake! My eyes couldn't believe this young child was out on this and by himself.

I love how with no actual information everyone is assuming the driver of the car is at fault. These little idiots on these scooters pay absolutely no attention when the speed down the street or sidewalk or the Greenbelt. They will pull out right in front of you, I have had it happen several times. I agree, most drivers these days are stupid but most kids these days are idiots. I should know, I have 4 and it's a daily chore to teach them things.

I saw a very young boy yesterday on an electric scooter. He was on the sidewalk of Kingwood Dr, close to Kings Point. I was shocked. This boy looked sooo young! Maybe 6 or 7. And all alone.
