The Event Cook is passionate about Gourmet Food. They will be responsible for prep and assembly of menu items at offsite catered events. Please see position responsibilities and qualifications details.


Responsibilities:

-Prepare, chop, slice, and cut all ingredient portions before cooking

-Cook, bake, grill, sauté, or fry all dishes as specified in the recipe

-Plate and garnish cooked items before table service

-Clean and maintain assigned workstation areas

-Follow safe and sanitary food handling practices according to local health and state laws

-Maintain a positive and professional environment with coworkers and customers

-Assistance with Setup and Breakdown of Event Serving Station


Qualifications:

-Must have experience and food handlers permit

-Must be able to lift 40lbs without assistance regularly

-Must be able to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift (6-8 hours)

-Must be on time, honest and reliable

-Must have transportation
