Dignified Transport contracts with funeral homes and other entities to transport decedents from Funeral homes to the Crematory. Duties include arriving in a timely manner, interacting with family/caregivers, gracefully loading and transporting decedent to the funeral home. Van, gurney and other necessary equipment are provided.

This position will work scheduled days of Monday-Friday from 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Perform appropriate identification of human remains and maintain identity standards throughout the cremation process
Interface with funeral directors and families as needed during the cremation process
Perform cremations in a timely and compliant manner •
Pack and ship cremated remains as needed
Clean and maintain retorts, processing room, cremation processor and other equipment

Hold a current Cremation Operator Certification or willing to obtain before hire for the State of Texas
Have a positive attitude and great people skills
Possess strong organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrate sensitivity and care in dealing with others
Maintain confidentiality
Work independently with minimal oversight
