Safety Coordinator responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Assisting Supervisors develop safety rules, procedures, checklists, etc.
Coordinating the ongoing implementation of the Safety Program
Conducting routine Safety Inspections in work areas
Leading Safety and Toolbox Topic meetings
Reviewing JSA/JHA, inspection reports, and other safety documentation
Ensuring proper records are maintained for all safety documentation and reporting
Conducting Incident/Accident investigations and providing reports and findings to management
Skills Required:

Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
Able to identify areas for improvement surrounding safety, health, and environmental
Able to understand verbal and written instructions and follow them with very little oversight
Able to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
Able to prioritize and organize projects effectively and on-demand
Able to operate a computer and basic software (Word, Excel, Outlook), on proprietary software, we will train
Candidate MUST:
Be 18+ years of age
Have at least, 2-3 years of verifiable experience working within a safety environment or in a HSE role
Clear Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol
Clear Background Check (Driving and Criminal)
Have a VALID driver's license
Company will provide all required safety glasses, hearing protection, vests, and hard hats. Candidate MUST have their own steel-toed shoes or boots.
