Navigating Behavior Solutions, LLC is dedicated to offering exemplary, direct, clinic based ABA services and social skills training to children and young adults impacted by an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or related developmental disability- and we’re looking for you! We believe in being on the cutting edge of new techniques and work diligently to not only operationally define new areas like executive functioning and emotional regulation, but to provide new techniques grounded in ABA that can make a positive impact on the child and the family. We work cooperatively with our local school districts and related therapies (OT and SLP) to ensure our clients have the most robust programming offered.
We are currently hiring Behavior Technicians (BT)/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for direct ABA therapy for children with an ASD diagnosis. Part Time and Full time positions are available.
Our BT’s/RBT’s facilitate the following activities:
• 1:1 skill acquisition in broad range of areas including:
- Communication Skills
- Self Care Skills
- Play Skills/Social Skills
- Functional Living Skills
- Pre-Academic Skills
- Behavior Skills
• Following Behavior Intervention Plans and utilizing:
Behavior Reduction Strategies
Data collection/Graphing
Qualifications for Behavioral Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
• High School Diploma required for BT/RBT
• College coursework in a related field preferred (education, psychology, social work, etc) for BT
• Approved by the BACB as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• At least 1 year of experience working with children; working with children with ASD preferred, but not required
• Great interpersonal and communication skills amongst therapy team, with families, school personnel, and other therapy providers
• Strong problem solving skills
• Professional and reliable
• Love children and working with them to gain new skills
General requirements for all applicants:
1. Applicant stays current in the field of Behavior Analysis and Autism treatment
2. Attends all required meetings/completes all training for continuing education as required by the BACB and NBS
3. Applicant is professional and reliable
4. Applicant adheres to HIPAA guidelines
5. Strong desire to help individuals and families with developmental disability
6. CPR and Basic Life Saving from Red Cross (willing to provide training)
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills
8. Federal and State Criminal Clearances and Texas Child Abuse Clearances
