J Christopher’s Pizza & Pasta, Kingwood’s first family restaurant, is currently seeking several experienced grill/fryer/sauté line cook for immediate hire.

Featuring an Italian food menu of pizzas, pastas as well as burgers, salads, sandwiches and hand battered appetizers such as calamari.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience (7+ years preferred)
Proven experience working in a fast pace kitchen
Texas Food Manager Certification preferred
Texas Food Handler Certification required
English and Spanish proficiency preferred
Proven experience in a high volume kitchen
Must be 18 or older per OSHA requirements
Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds
Must be able to stand for 6 hours or more
Must have valid and verifiable authorization to work in the USA

Duties:
1. Prepare burgers, sandwiches, salads
2. Prepare hand battered appetizers to order
3. Prepare fried foods to order
4. Prepare grilled and sautéed items to order
5. Prepare signature pasta sauces to order
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment
7. Comply with state and local health code

Full and part-time positions available. All positions are evening shifts from 4-close. We are hiring 2 to 3 qualified individuals for immediate start.
