Northeast Houston CPA firm is looking for experienced Client Service Coordinators.
Job Description Outline:
• Marketing
o Website content
 Write/edit articles
 Continuously update, new posts
o Write and coordinate ads in various publications
o Google Adwords and other internet marketing campaigns and accounts including
 Twitter
 Facebook
 Linked-in
o SEO - website optimization
o PowerPoint presentations
o Brainstorm, develop marketing and advertising campaigns
• Client Service
o Client emails and letters
 General
• Maximize use of Outlook
• Tax tips
• Year-end planning
 Respond and address specific client issues
o Maintain contact and work lists
o Prompt response to email
o Phones/Hosting/Reception
o Client visits
o Gather client data and organize documents
o Assemble tax returns
 Cover/instruction letters
o Problems resolution
 Contact IRS and state tax agencies
 Respond to client concerns
• Document and Data Input/Verification
o Coordination of incoming emails, disburse to staff, follow client service progress
 Distributing incoming client e-mail and documents
 Coordinating additional document requests
 Scanning and uploading documents
 Tracking specific deadlines
o QuickBooks
o Tax Software - Lacerte
o Excel Spreadsheets
o Financial statement preparation
o Cross referencing & proofreading
• Research & Library
o Maintain Professional Resources Library and Index
 Education Materials
 Client Support Documents
o Oil & Gas Industry
o Litigation Support
o Valuation Research
o Internet Searches
• Office Management
o Maintaining network and office organization
o Coordinate calendars
o Couriers, mail & P.O. Box

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• College degree preferred
• Internet marketing and website maintenance experience
• Client service experience
• Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Research skills and documentation thereof
• Excellent communicator; superior written and spoken English skills
• Accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred (CPA, or working toward CPA a big plus)
• Tax return preparation experience preferred
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• International and multicultural interests
Other Information:
• Salary or hourly pay based on experience
• Part-time (20 to 30 hours) or Full-time, hourly with some overtime
• Option to split week/day between work at office and work from home (need home computer and internet access)
