Northeast Houston CPA firm is looking for experienced full-time and part-time tax accountants. The position requires preparation and assistance with business bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement preparation, financial research and other accounting related duties. Must be able to successfully manage multiple assignments, write and speak well, develop quality relationships, identify client needs and service opportunities, and propose solutions as issues arise.
Skills/Education Required:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in public practice
- Accounting degree, Certified Public Accountant preferable, or working toward CPA
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat tools
- QuickBooks experience
- Audit experience preferable
- Excellent professional writing and communication skills
- Strong client and team building relationship skills
- Multi-lingual and multi-cultural background an advantage

Duties Include:
- Bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
- All aspects of payroll, Form 1099’s and compensation arrangements
- Tax and business valuation research (technical writing)
- Financial analysis
- Litigation support assistance
- Client service

Flexible Hours with Opportunity to Work from Home for Qualified Persons
