A small, family-owned business in Kingwood is seeking a well-organized administrative assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring strong attention to details. Because we are a small business, duties may vary accordingly, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable with learning a wide variety of job functions and covering for team members when they are out of the office. We are a close-knit family environment, and are looking for someone who is a self-starter, motivated to learn and grow.
Skills Required:
Primary job duties:
- Process test certificates, type test certificates and ensure accurate records for ISO Tank Container surveys.
- Maintain xls spreadsheets and ensure data is kept up to date, in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Research, analyze and sort information as needed.
- Review data being entered from source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate discrepancies, fill gaps in incomplete records, and resolve other problems.
Skills Desired:
- Demonstrate excellent typing skills, and is comfortable with technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft o365 applications, Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and self-organized
- Ability to retain information quickly
- Ability to follow instructions and good communication skills for rectifying problems and providing feedback
