Seniors who help other seniors remain independent in their own homes (Locations around Kingwood, Atascosita, Humble, Porter/New Caney, and Liberty/Dayton.)

I am Windy and my husband is Floyd. After 30 years in the corporate world, we decided to establish Seniors Helping Seniors® - Kingwood (https://www.SHSKingwood.com). We are a non-medical in-home senior care agency licensed in Texas (# 022875) and building our caregiver team! We are seeking like-minded seniors who wish to join us, share life-experience with older peers, help them maintain their independence as long as possible, and be blessed in the process.
Are you a vibrant senior who wants to enable older seniors to stay in their homes and avoid facility placement as long as possible - or perhaps provide respite for a family caregiver? Or, do you think you can understand and support someone in that position, offering respect and a helping hand? We are so very excited about how you would bring your own unique depth of life experience.

We have a particular need for caregivers with Spanish fluency as well as English fluent caregivers.

We have openings for caregivers who can work: days, weekends, overnight. Shifts can be 3 to 12 hours; to match your availability.

We provide paid training and will secure your required background checks. Working hours will be flexible, depending on your availability. We match you up with a compatible senior who needs your companionship and assistance. Duties will be non-medical and may include light housework or yardwork, meal preparation, medication reminders, driving to appointments, and in some cases assistance with the activities of daily living.

Skills Required:

Licensed to Drive client safely to appointments, errands, etc.

Preferred: 1-2 years experience caring for a loved-one, friend or neighbor.
