Calling all homeschool families! Appreciate modern conveniences by taking a step back in time.

Enjoy a guided tour of the 1830s Redbud Hill Homestead and Akokisa-Ishak Village at Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center with reenactors!

Tour includes a blacksmith shop, woodshop, garden, log cabin, smokehouse, and more. Tour starts promptly at 9:30 am and should finish by 11:30 am

Wear closed-toed shoes, and dress to be outdoors. Expect a one mile walk, round-trip, on a gravel and/or mulched trail. Be sure to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the playground following the tour.
