This essay contest will have three categories: • Elementary schools One winner will be selected for each category. Prizes - The winners will have their essays displayed on Kingwood.com and Atascocita.com in the News section and the Schools section. They will also win monetary prizes.

Contest rules:
Dates – October 16, 2009 – November 13, 2009
Apply online via Kingwood.com or Atascocita.com
Student must be enrolled and attend an Humble ISD school.
Essays should be a minimum of 100 words and not more than 1000 words. The essay entries will be judged on creativity, individuality and grade appropriate grammar and spelling. A photo may also be submitted with each essay.
Winners will be announced on November 20, 2009 and the essays will run on Kingwood.com and Atascocita.com on Monday November 23rd.
