Although you might not first realize it, Kingwood is part of the City of Houston. The majority of the villages in Kingwood are part of the City of Houston and fall in the Kingwood Super Neighborhood area. If, however, you live in Kings Manor or Kings Mill, you are probably a resident of Montgomery County.
If you live in Kingwood, you can:
- Be in either Harris or Montgomery County
- Attend either Humble ISD or New Caney ISD schools
- Have either CenterPoint or Entergy as your Electricity provider
Police, fire and ambulance services are provided by the
City of Houston.
The county line falls on a diagonal running from NorthPark Drive to
the west of the intersection of NorthPark Drive and Woodland Hills Drive, in
a southwesterly direction towards Kingwood Drive.
