"Inspiring preservation through beauty" is the theme of this contest sponsored by Rehak Creative Services // Kingwood Service Association.

Use your camera to capture the beauty in nature and inspire people to preserve the environment. This contest is open to all full-time students. Enter in one of two categories: 13 and under; over 13.

Prizes in each age group:

• $250 First Place
• $100 Second Place
• $50 for each of three Honorable Mentions

There is no entry fee to participate.
Deadline for entries: Jan. 4, 2010.
Winners announced by Feb. 1, 2010.
All decisions of the judges are final.

Restrictions:
- Pictures must be taken inside Kingwood’s East End Park.
- No flora or fauna may be harmed in the taking of the pictures.
- Limit of five entries per person.
- You must be willing to let us showcase your entry on EastEndPark.com.

Each submission must:
- Be in jpeg format.
- Be under 5 megabytes in size.
- Include your name in the file name
(example: johndoe1.jpg).
- Be accompanied by a completed entry form.
