Each state has one-might be quicker if you gogle the state/city you were born in and birth certificate.  I had to pay 40 for mine b/c it was out of state.

I had to do that when I needed a copy of my birth certificate....actually the biggest pain is looking up the phone/contact number......  lol...

Just google (state) birth certificate and you should find instructions on how to get a copy.

Oh yeah- I had to call the state to get it quicker.  If you have time, just fill the form out online.  I had mine within 3 days of calling though.

Contact the Clerk of Courts in the county where you were born.  That is where your certificate is recorded.  They will send you a copy for some $.  At one time if you were a vet, they would waive the fee.
