Awww, so cute!  Reminds me of my husband....he saves all critters- he seems to have an eye for spotting furballs (and reptiles) in distress.  He brings them all home too!

So what is wrong with the squirrel ?


@N+T:

Other than the fact that he fell from his nest and was carried in my dogs mouth for 15 minutes?  Nothing..      I hope that he is healthy, but only time will tell, next step is to get him in a larger cage with some sticks to make sure he is able to climb...  Feeing him by hand right now with a medicine syringe...  He has not made a attempt to bite me yet..  He is most content snuggling as close as he can....  But my last squirrel rehabs did not bite till......they bit....

Oh my......what a cutie. I was thinking maybe you should let him go in a nice area near some water. I know the wildlife rescue places release them near ponds, lakes or rivers. My friend lives in Kings Manor, but really it would probably be best to release it away from any people or streets.
