ok that was a weird interview...
I was asked a few questions and suddenly I was asked to sign employment papers. I was a bit confusd...BING I had just gotten hired??!!? I asked about If I would need to drive, to cover various stories. Yes, I would. Um, that was just weird. I said I would think about it but..wow. Maybe I should have been told that BEFORE I was suddenly presented with sign up papers?

I can't accept bc I can't drive.
Buuuut the pay is $25 per article...but you have to drive around, and basically that money goes toward gas, yeesh

@Horsemagic:
That is a bit odd, but at least they did not ask if you would be willing to give "erotic massages", My fiance had looked for work as a bartender and someone asked him this in a phone interview...

I will...it is part time so I can still do everything I want/need to during the day.

I went to one last week and they didn't want to hire anyone with children-yes they came right out and said that.

@Okiedokie:

was it Taylor??? they so were not professional..

Just finished my interview...I go back later this week to work a shift to see if it is a good fit. I really liked the place so I am hoping it works

And congrats Horsemagic. I am a little jealous-I would love to get back into writing.

Good luck, OKIE! Really hope it works out.
Honestly, I was really disappointed in my interview...it was as if they weren't really looking hard for an employee, but just went through the process to seem more professional. I know I have talent, but basically my resume was glossed over, I was asked what I wanted to write about/tell a little about myself, and BING, here's a paper to sign....um, shortest interview ever?
