The fake cop thingy worries me as school starts, remember last year some guy wearing a HPD shirt tried to pick up one of our children. EYES OPEN PEOPLE!

I travel around the country for a living and catch the local news regularly- its(crime) pretty much(more or less) is the same everywhere I go- 'nothing new under the sun' unfortunately. What does change, sometimes, is how communities/individuals handle situations.
 I love Kingwood. We've been here since 06. Worse? I dont think so.   Different.. well , nothing, totally stays the same.. how it changes is up to us..lets do our part: by being watchful of the unusual(and report it),  caring to the hurting , sympathetic to the suffering and generous when possible. If we have an attitude..lets have a good one. .positive, for the future,, and do our part , what we can to make it a great place to live. I'm proud to live in Kingwood.

If you are alone at night and you are being pulled over, put on your hazards and call 911 let them know you see the officer but are going to a well lit area.  Any legit officer will not have an issue with this.  Esp if you slow down too.  The dispatch will let the officer know what you are doing.

I hope they find this pos soon.

As for the poor woman who had her window shot out, I don't see that as a Kingwood issue, it happened on 59.  I hope they catch who did this too.
