Roux is rockin and im a choppin the veggies.

I promised my dh one when he gets back into the country next week.
I don't mind making the roux, I don't mind making the gumbo. But I hate chopping all those veggies. It is hard work.
I really admire how women use to do this much prep work and they didn't have the conveniences we do now.

I hate it also!! Sometimes I cheat and buy the frozen gumbo veggies.

Ahh, I am tempted to do that, but I just have not ever let myself do this.
I feel like Spongebob when I am making a roux, I have to make it with love
