so i am going to go and buy 1 of 2 cars today. both used because i only pay cash and that is all i am going to pay. these are both in my price range and both are in perfect shape. which do yall recommend?
2005 bmw Z4 convertable black.(my only issue with this one is that it is an automatic)
2005 chrysler crossfire gray convevrtable(they are no longer made so parts may be an issue here bit i wont keep it forever. if it breaks, i will get rid of it)
both are 2 seeters but michaels truck aeats six and we are giving my van ti my daughter so we will still be able to go placecs as a family.

I'd get the Z4. It will always hold the value more than anything Chrysler made. Just knowing it is a Chrysler would make me say no way to buying it.
The Z4 just looks better coming down the road, imo.

how tall are you... I always see some old guy hunched over in a z4.
I think Crossfire is gay with that little fin that pops up.

Now see as I get older, I hate all cars. Can't imagine every having to crawl into one so low to the ground. And I have never cared for a manual vehicle. They are OK, but the gear shift is always in the way of a where a cup holder should be.
I like to be high up to see what the morons in front of me are doing.
And not driving a big vehicle in Texas, just doesn't seem too smart.
But if you get either of those, the BMW is the coolest.

My dh has always wanted a Porche. Well one of the guys at work just got one. He and dh head out, for lunch last week. Dh got back to the office and said, he is over it Said it sucked having to get so low to get into the car, and he is a broad shouldered guy. Had no room inside.
And the speed limit is still what it is, regardless of what you are driving. He said all he got out of it was a lot of fumes you breath in when you ride even with big trucks exhaust.
I was glad he had the experience. That is all I have been hearing about.

Pft, how you gonna drink your coffee with a manual? Heck, how you gonna go through the drive thru to get the coffee?
I think the car would be too low down to get it
Oh dear, I think I must be too old for a midlife crisis....

@GoldenGirl:
we learned the hard way(by totaling a brand new car) how much of a bad investment a new , financed car is.
