Im the same every time I hear a noise outside the house at night I jump up and look out the windows. Or if the dogs bark I get freaked out. We had someone break into our cars and garage a month ago. Gotta love kingwood. The most upper class ghetto in houston. Lol

Where do you live in Kingwood?
I want to make sure I never move there.
We have been in Kingwood for 10 years and have never had these problems. We have had the local pos teens vandalize some things, and steal some yard stuff, but never this high level of crime that you are seeing.
I leave outside lights on, don't park in the street, and lock all my doors to cars and garage at night.
It does help that my neighbors have security cameras on the outside of their house  I often feel I should I pay them for keeping the neighborhood safe.

I hope you find the character summary in good light... and as humorous as I find it to be....
Gladys Kravitz knew everything and nothing at all, all at the same time. Her advice was most always wrong and her opinion was most always uninformed but this didn't mean that she ever gave thought to not offering both to anyone and everyone with whom she came in contact. Mrs. Kravitz, as Samantha always called her, believed that she was always right, even without knowing all the facts or understanding all the issues. That she existed was enough reason for her input to be solicited and Lord help you if you didn't act on her advice in an expeditious manner! Just ask Abner!

@Fallon: Same here Fallon. Nothing much going on here, I'm in BB) but i"m still alert. The other night the dog was barking at the window next to ther front door & I believe it's b/c of a tree (small tree) that fell. She thinks it's a some type of critter.
