Attacker in KW strikes again

KHOU reported that the guy who went after the jogger also tried to attack a 12 year old boy. The boy was leaving the pool (i think it was Bear Branch pool) and a bald black guy asked the boy to help find his puppy. The boyknew this was not right and ran off screaming. The guy is still on the loose so be careful

Can't we increase the police presence on the Greenbelt?  I walk dogs on the Greenbelt daily, and have never ONCE seen a bicycle cop. Never. I see them all the time over by the bridge, but never back in Kingwood...

I hope the authorities/cops were notified.. about this  last incident.. was this on the news? if this guy is out there, still in the area approaching people, in the same area, so closely and quickly, he should be pretty easy to find.,especially if its on the NEWS etc,... does it HAVE to take somethng bad to happen first .to get the cops out there looking etc.? hopefully they are...

Do you know there are over 80 miles of bike trails in Kingwood and maybe 2-4 bike police per shift. I ride fast at 10-11 mph on the trails( and trust me that is generous And fast- i average 16-18 on the road) so it would take me 7 1/2 - 8 hours to cover all the trails in KW on 1 shift! Soo here's my suggestion

1) ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings
2) ALWAYS carry a cell phone and ID
3) ONLY wear one- or No-earphone ( the right one) so you can hear people coming up behind you. I don't wear ear buds- I load my iPhone with music and I play it on speaker- I can hear the music and everything going on around me.
4) Use the trails in groups or be prepared to act on your own. I run with my dog- he's 40 lbs and bad guys in general don't want to find out of the dog will bite. Otherwise I run with friends or put on my Don't EVEN think of messing with me look.

Ive been riding and running the trails for 10 years almost daily with no issues. I did have the "pleasure" of coming across "Duct Tape Man" one time. I just chuckled, the dog growled and duct tape man stayed duct taped to the bench
Just BE prepared and teach your kids the same

The reason he is after boys and women walking the trail is he is a perv......  honestly he is not going to give up so we will have to be on the look out for this person......
Everyone do becareful and watch who is around you...especially when you drive in your garage or driveway or in a parking lot.....

@TexINS: Are we sure this is the same guy?? I thought the first suspect was a white dude??
