Real journalism is on life support in some ICU. Real journalists are endangered and near extinction.

It seems this year everyone is much more critical of every little thing. Is it genuine disdain for the event or manufactured drama to make headlines?

There were several blogs and articles cutting Gabby down for thanking the lord when she got her gold too! Its real sad, we are soon looking at a country that is not going to allow open Christianity and thats some scary crud...:-( I'm betting by next Olympics they will make it against their policy, even law and start fining them and even threatening to disqualify them.

That is messed up, plus why does it mater what she chooses not to do with her vagina anyways. That is just stupid that someone would say something like that, I would like to see them run like that. Plus to get up and running like that again after a spinal injury that is something to be proud of alone.

I feel bad for Lolo. I didn't know much about her, but I was curious, so I researched a little bit. What an amazing story. I really wish the best for her, she is so beautiful, not only on the outside, but the inside- that's a very rare thing these days. The media should be ashamed of themselves for ripping her apart like that.

I do not see how they could possibly think that coming up with such a stupid assumption would make them look smart. I do not even get how they think that her being a virgin would effect her race at all. It just makes them look like idiots.
