It was just on the news. A man and a woman approached him and offered to sell him a $50 Lowes gift card for $20 saying they needed gas money. He declined but offered them a few dollars for gas. They shot at him and attempted to rob him. He was only grazed and his pickup was hit by a bullet too

That's just too scary. I had someone in a car trying to ask me a question while I was walking to my car in thr Hobby Lobby parking lot - they might have just wanted directions but I kept walking and didn't look at them.
Remember, if there is one in the car, there is one at your back. "not looking" is the worst thing you could have done. Be aware of your suroundings at all times, and get youre head out of your iphone when in the parking lot.
