It could be that it is a BYOB situation, as they may be waiting for the liscense from TABC. I was at Gold's gym this evening and did not see any signs regarding free or BYOB.

@topcat: I just came from the gym ( gold's and yes they have a banner on the neutral ground ( oops, you can tell i'm from New Orleans) I mean the embankment that states "free beer weekend" . BTW....there is a new BBQ restaurant on 1960 next to Outback called Dickey's BBQ ( they are a multi-unit chain and one of the fastest growing in the country) LInk...... http://www.dickeys.com/default.aspx
