nope can say i do... or even heard of anyone thru friends or relatives... you would be the first contact who can confirm a death. sorry to hear of ur tragic first hand experience..
but my thought still dont change, i would be more about the day to day drive to and from houston then west nile virus.. but over all people shouldn't stress over something they have no control over..

No one is stressing. Just saying its more than yada yada yada. The elderly and people with an illness should take it more seriously. AND I don't necessarily agree with mass mosquito sprayers either, it kills other harmless insects like lightening bugs. I do, however, think older and ill people should be more careful as to not get bit by the use of personal deet products, such as OFF or those little things you can clip to your belt made by OFF. Since my parents are in their 70's and live in a very wooded area, and work outside gardening a lot, I really don't want them getting WNV due to carelessness. My late husband died at the age of 39 in 2003 from WNV, he also had a mild case of MS. No one even knew he had MS, it was so mild and he looked otherwise very healthy and fit as he worked out. You are entitled to your opinion of being more worried about traffic and you are right the chance of dying in a wreck in Houston is greater, but to diminish the health facts of WNV because you don't personally know anyone is a bit too yada yada yada. RJMO.
