Zora and Colt don't mind my gross blanket. @taramay: I am sure they love your blanket. I am sure it has a strong scent of you. It's probably like curling up next to momma when momma's busy. @N+T: Yes. The strong smell of feet. @OhHappyPets: LOL! Yuck @N+T: i do wash my blanket! not as much as i probably should...because i'm scared one day it won't make it out in 1 piece! @taramay: U know what's funny is my 3 year old has a blanket that looks just like yours! I can't find blankets like it to replace that one. I'm so afraid he's going to choke himself with it in his sleep
@mpjp0907: they don't make them!! i did find the crochet pattern though and it's super easy. i started making one last year...but just haven't finished it. i probably should before mine decomposes completely.
also...my mom used to find me in the mornings with blue fingers and toes because i would fall asleep with them stuck in the blanket. hindsight...she probably shouldn't have let me sleep with it. she created a monster!

I have to have my nails and toenails painted at all times. I also put on make up everyday; I only powder, mascara and lipstick/chapstick.

Nice drinking glasses or bar ware, I can never have too many nice glasses. Also chairs, I Iove different oddly shaped chairs. It doesn't matter if they are wood, fabric or what, I love to have them reupholstered or stained if needed......

@bubbleyes72:
You sound like someone perfect for Antiques Roadshow....Appraiser: "This is a genuine, rare antique Ames chair. It's worth $25,000...except that you refinished it!" You: AHHHHH crap!"
My addictions include "The Simpsons", horse figurines, "Antiques Roadshow", dark chocolate and Tetris.

@taramay... you make me feel better!!
I have a blanket that my mom brought me home from the hospital in. 32 years later, It's now a knotted up looking rag. It used to be a winnie the pooh floating on the clouds with red balloons. You can't even see that anymore... It's so ugly, but I love having it under my pillow at night.
I used to say...I would get rid of it... Â "WHen I graduate college", "When I get married", "WHen I have kids"...
All that has happened and guess what. That blanket is still around. My husband thinks it's the weirdest thing ever -- and makes fun of me for it. My daughter is only 2 but she knows that is "mommy's"... well, she doesn't even call it a blanket because at this point it doesn't really look like a blanket.
Ha..
Although mine stays hidden most of the time. ON a related note, on a college sorority trip 10+ years ago, my best friend "flew blankie" out of the window while we were going down the highway. She just held it up out the window -- but from that point on I decided it will not leave the house anymore.
Funny, it sounds so normal, but after reading this... yeah, it seems a little weird.

my strange addiction is to sunflower seeds.
Â
I will go years without eating them, and then have a few then i cant stay away from them for months. Eventually I will be forced to be away from them and i forget. But then, one day the cycle will continue.

Oh, and another one.....when my dogs start to shed, I have a thing about pulling out the tufts of hair, and before I know it, I have a huge ball of hair in my hands. It doesn't hurt them (otherwise I wouldn't do it). I am especially crazy about doing it to our Shiba Inu...this little piece of fur just sticks out a little, and I HAVE to pull it out. He gets all mad when he sees me do it, and then tries to eat it!
Â
Same thing with peeling sunburned skin, not that I get sunburns often, but when I do, I am obsessed with peeling it. If I see other people with peeling skin, I have this urge to peel their too (BUT I NEVER DO!!!).

@Littlegoo:
That made me think of the austin powers movie where the "i love gold" guy peels off some skin and keeps it in a special little box
