I like it, but since living in Texas, it becomes a chore that's miserable because it's so hot and humid here..ugh. I'm beginning to like the idea of snowy winters more and more.

We just finished mowing & weed eating our postage stamp size yard & it was total misery the entire time we worked on it. Can't wait to sell & move back to Ky. Someone Please buy our home here in Texas !

I love doing yard work. I have 22 trees in my yard too! I bought a leaf shredder a couple of years ago and shred all the needles and use it to control weeds in the beds. Perfect. No more bags, no more buying mulch.
You just have to be careful, it doesn't like twigs. I may get a chipper down the road.

I also make my own beer. Nothing like a nice home brew after cleaning it all up. Unfortunately I have to pay someone right now living out of state. Can't wait to get back to my big yard in Forest Cove.

It's just the east side of TX...  If you move west the its not humid and you don't have to worry about cutting grass..

Just have it cut every 2 weeks by a lawn service comapny and call it a day. Somewhere in the budget it could be worked in and save you from heat stroke/exhaustion/dehydration/bug bites...........The folks that cut my yard only charge $30 and do it every 2 weeks.
