Glad your sons are ok, ....., BUT, how old are they, and unless they were coming and going from work, what were they doing out running around at 1:30am? Not to be judgmental, but you need to know that there are crazy people out there that time of night, leaving clubs, drunk, etc..... Running around that time of night, even in Kingwood, raises the risk of encountering situations such as this. Just providing some advice from a law enforcement point of view.

I think her kids are grown. I really don't think that is the issue, someone assaulted her kids. DUH!
FYI, I know I have no control over what time my 21 year old comes home. And 1:30 is early. Heck I used to stay out til all hours when I was that age. Bars close at 2, then an all you can eat breakfast and more hanging out with friends, would put me home around 5AM. Then 'd have to get up at 9 to be to work at my mall job at 10. Life was so much simpler back then, broke, but simple.
Angie, I hope your kids are okay, and they catch the bad guys.

@Francita:
That is why I was asking their ages. A reference was made to knowing them from school, so not knowing them personally, or their ages I felt compelled to point out the dangers of running around at night, regardless of your age. I know that parents do not control the activities of "grown" children, and what they choose to do is up to them, along with the consequences. As I also said, fortunately it did not turn out worse and the two kids are ok. Hopefully local law enforcement will be able to locate them and file charges.
