when my hubby & I were trying to pick a day to get married we looked at the calender & chose a month that no one had any birthdays in our family , the entire month was free of birthdays , anniversaries , etc. So we chose the month & the 22nd as the day because of the double 2's .

But you need to ask your partner what day & month would be good for him . Remember , a wedding takes at least 6 months to plan for if you are going to have a big affair . We skipped the big wedding & flew to Hawaii to get married on the beach just as the sun was going down . Total cost for 8 days in Hawaii was $3,000 .

A lot less than a huge wedding would have cost & it was perfect for us. Congratulations ! And Good Luck .

We really can't do anything relating to our birthdays because mine is December 23 and his is September 22. I am still leaning to June because there is nothing going on in his or my family around then and I would love January but it is right between my birthday, Christmas, new years and valentines. All of those already get mixed together. He doesn't care but I am making this waay harder then it should be, just like I did folding the towels...lol...they all have to be folded identically and have to be stacked brown tan brown tan and so on...ahhh...I'm sure I'm gonna go crazy

ummm...Nicole....this is your soon to be mother-in-law...,yes there IS something going on in his family in June...remember OUR anniversary is JUNE 10TH!!

Nicole... I like 11-12-13 Good numbers and gives lots of time to plan for the big day. But most important is checking for the availabilities for the destination wedding. Don't rush a date...enjoy the engagement time first, you will be engaged just a short time, you will be married forever!

Fueng Shui (sp?) believes in the power of 3. So the date should be divisible by 3 (Add all the #'s)

Lol about the numbers! I had the same issue, we were married 1-11-10 because I like the number 4 and I call our date 1 to the 4th power. We also got married at 4 pm
