I reach out to pick up my poodle (4 years old about 7 pounds) she reaches out for me like a baby every single time. I honestly do not think she has any idea that she is a dog! Haha! It's still so hard to get ready for work with this cute little furball wanting your attention all the time! I love her so much!! Lol

My favorite is when they bury their head into your neck when you pick them up....total love and affection in their eyes.   

And, I agree on the difficulty getting ready when they are just staring at you with the "puppy dog eyes"...

Bree is a "hugger". Which means she likes to lean into you, and 100+ pounds of dog can really, really lean.

Our youngest pooch is a mix of Corgi and Black Lab and who knows what else (rescue dog).  Whenever she wants something, she does this.  We didn't teach her how to do it, she just started doing it on her own.
