Ok so I painted some letters to spell Emma to hang above the crib. Alternating pink and green. They came out nice, but I was thinking maybe I should embellish them in some way. Any ideas?
I made some for my sons room and after I painted them and let dry I put a clear coat of crackle paint over them and hung with ribbon. The crackle paint makes a really neat finish

I can only think of polka dots.
I am actually making some for a friend of mine that is pregnant. I am ordering the bib and burp cloth in her nursery pattern so I can match paint colors. I will embellish with ribbons and flowers I think.
i did a kewl sponge job (@JJ get your mind out the gutter) on a medicine cabinet using glow in the dark neon paint.
So during the day it has this neon blue, green, yellow and pink look on top of a dark gray, but you turn the lights off and you get a subdued neon glow.
how about some of the "glow in the dark" stickers they come in different patterns & when you turn the lights off at night they will glow a nice soft light for quite a while . I did this for all my grand kids & they loved it . When you get tired of it you just have to remove the stickers & you are right back to the original letters. I always favored the "glow in the dark STARS" they also have the solar system & I bought this & did the entire solar system on the ceiling for my kids . it stayed up for years & also taught them where the planets located too....
