Best place to watch the fireworks

Yes you can see the fireworks at the park and ride lot but the last time we went there the back gates were on a timer and closed at 9:00 right when the fireworks started. Someone pried one of the gates open and we were able to drive out with no problem. I don't know if they still shut automatically at 9 and if they do and aren't pried open I don't know what it's like for everyone to get out the one entrance that lets out on WLH. Another suggestion would be the Randalls parking lot then after the fireworks drive east on KW Dr. to Mills Branch.

The gates to the entrance of the Park and Ride do close at nine. So you have to enter and exit on WLH side. Not a big deal, you are at your car anyway, and by the time they are over, you are out and gone before you get hit with the traffic from Town Center.

Can't imagine why anyone would pry the door open. You just have to drive around, it isn't a big deal.

If we get there early, we back into the blocked entrance, and set out chairs and watch from there. Then we have zero traffic when we leave

Where do the fireworks actually go off? Are they designed to be a display for Town Center? Or is the best vantage point elsewhere? This is my first summer in Kingwood.

Last year we parked in the burger king lot and sat on the roof of our truck. Great view and post show a very fast exit.....we were back home in 10 min. afterwards.
