You want a yellowish flatter bottom and brown stem. that means it was let on vine longer. the stem end should be slightly soft and when you thump it it should sound hollow

We bought one they called elite and promised it was real good but  it was bad...  at least they were right about the peaches.

I microwave my salads...wow that reads like I'm weird but I hate cold produce or vegatables...even raw.
