Because the ingrates don't follow the simple rules and mess it up. Don't believe me? Drive past any Paper Retriever (the bins in fron of the schools) it says specifically "No Cardboard", what are these full of? Cardboard.
 
Drive past Waste Management's mix recyclable bin in fron of Bear Branch. Some arse clown put 20 bags of garbage in fron of the bin. If I owned paper retriever and Waste management I would yank those bins today. Or maybe Humble ISD should get rid of them.
 
Anyway, seems the losers of society keep ruining everything with their lack of appreciation.

Yep, got rid of mix recyclable bins at timbers elementary. Probably for that reason. Now I have to go to the Metro lot on the weekends.

@BooBear Probably because the machines that recycle cannot accomodate the weight or size of the cardboard. Paper retriever is just for paper (newpapers, magazines, paper).

I do like that at the Metro location there is a real nice waste management man who helps the ladies dump their mix recyclables. Comes in handy now that I have a big prego belly.
