Awesome, thanks for posting a picture. Great smile.
@lola: Thanks! Since I hope to eventually meet people on this board, I'll add the following: I'm 56 years old, 5'10", weigh too much, keep my hair very short, lots of grey, wear wire-frame glasses, I am half Cajun (father's side), no sign of baldness, I did wear suspenders for a brief period, I don't smoke anything, I love to watch Jeopardy, and I did have a monkey when I was a kid.
@Retired_Engineer: See I was partially right about the cajun part!

@mardigrasman: I have a French last name. I've traced it back to a French soldier who came to LA around the 1750's. After his enlistment was up, he stayed in LA, married, and became a merchant. The family eventually moved upriver to the river parishes (St. Charles and St. John) and settled down. My father grew up in Reserve. After college, my wife and I moved to LaPlace and lived there for about 15 years.

@mardigrasman: You are a lucky dog (don't ever eat those! if you know what I mean). I truly miss the food in that area. I haven't been back to NO since Katrina.
@Retired_Engineer: a lot has changed in the metro N.O area since Katrina.....my old nieghborhood in Chalmette is virtually non-existent now.
@mardigrasman: Sorry to hear that.
Several of my friends had houses in the West End area and had to rebuild.
