I have a mental image of some of you that I haven't met in person.

I think Retired Engineer is tall, 6'1", slender, full head of silver hair and rimless glasses. Nice smile too.

RR, before you tell us, anyone else want to describe him?

@lola: he's told me in past 2 weeks in post here that he used to live in one of my old stomping grounds back in southeast Louisiana, so he could be part cajun with a Justin Wilson look to him, IMO.......

I think "he" is 5'4 160lbs long brown hair that he wears in a bun with very small breasts and large feet with those toes that hang over the flip flops.

5'11", 190lbs.  late 50's.  fairly healthy.  Salt and peppa hair, with more salt then peppa.  Walks a 10 year old dog/mutt on a leash every morning while his wife is brewing coffee and making his oatmeal.

Okay, I know a few retired engineers (my dad included), and I would say most of them are fairly fit/healthy, very dry/sarcastic sense of humor....sometimes slightly twisted sense of humor also.  Very kind in general, but also can be quite stubborn.  I also bet that you have to have "projects" to do....keeping mind and body busy.  Definitely agree with the salt and pepper hair, slightly on the thinning side (Engineering is not exactly a low stress job).  Average height, 5'10" +. 

Well???    

Editing to add:  YES, my dad has smoked cigars too!  So, I do actually agree with the cigar thing too.  lol.....
