Goodness if 3B's is better food wise, then I will pass. The fried mushrooms at 3B's are excellent. The burgers are so, so. The rest, blah on a good day.
@DCowboys: 3B'S is on Kingwood dr, about 2 blocks down from west lake houston pkwy in an out parcel shopping center adjacent to Randalls's ( it is almost right behind Lamadeline's).....They have excellent burgers ( certified angus beef) and a fairly decent beer selection. Hope this info help's........
They have one in Baton Rouge too, BEST food there. Their salsa is to die for. Oh we can dream!

And the take-away styrofoam cup margaritas are to die for as well. Love me some superior grill. I think that would be the one thing you couldnt do in Texas, but one little change wouldnt be so bad.
Oh do I miss the drive thru Daquiri stands. We went from LA to VA, not only is VA food hell, but trying to even find liquor to buy was like being back in the stone ages.
You could get the virgin daquiris too, and while pregnant, on a hot day, that was the ticket!
You know I was thinking about BR and Walk-Ons ( still gagging- dh's territory is LA and I've eaten there many times but no more) and I think a Mellow Mushroom would go well there- good pizza- and great salads- they also serve sandwiches- I've never had those. They have the usual beers BUT also some great microbrews- some on draft and a small wine selection- a few that are a bit better than lical bars usual offerings. I definitely hit the Mellow Mushroom once a week if they put one in down at Kings Harbor
