I may be returning to work (teaching) and we are looking for a great, SAFE place for our 3 year old daughter. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions or information on St. Martha's Catholic School. Anything you can tell us would be MOST appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Great school.

You can go by, now before school is out, and take a mini tour of the classrooms.  This will do a lot to make the transition easier for you and your child.  Call today or tomorrow and see if you can arrange a time to stop by.

Also, if you have any questions you can call the school and ask to speak to the registrar, Jan Rodine. She's very nice and dedicated to the school.

My son is in MDO there and my youngest starts in September. We love it! Nothing but great things to say about St. Martha's!

We currently moving to Houston, company relocation and looking at Catholic Schools.  We are currently in a Catholic school in Florida.  I am hearing that the Catholic Schools in Houston are far behind the Public schools as the Public School system in Houston is very, very good.  Can anyone give me some insight?  We are looking at St. Martha's, St. Edwards and St. Anthony of Padua....not set on a location -- school is more important.  Thanks for your help.

Take in to consideration where you got your information that the schools are behind public schools.   Private schools in Texas cover the same subjects but possibly different information in topics such as history and science.  It would not mean they are behind it would mean the kids are learning different things on the same level as there piers.
