I found a kitten, about 3 months, who needs a home by tonight. My husband is allergic and I can not keep her. She is litter box trained. I did buy her a litter box, food bowl, litter and cat food that I am willing to give also. She is black with white on her nose, belly, and paws. Please call or text me at 281 706 0505. I hate to do it but if I don't have a home for her by tomorrow I will have to drop her at a shelter
Contact VAP, and other places.....there are no kill shelters around somewhere... The likelihood of her getting put down esp. as a stray drop off is all but 100%..... Maybe even the place that does the adoptions at Petco??
I tried petco and petsmart and they don't want her either. I will contact VAP. I don't want her to be put down. grew really attached to this kitten. Im atleast trying to find a good home for her
I hope you can find her a good home....Can she stay in one of your "extra" rooms - if you have one..so that your husband is not exposed to her? Have you posted ads on the classifieds here, and other places like KingwoodYardSales.com ??? I had the same thing happen with me fairly recently, and I was able to find her a home with ads and pictures. If you can afford to get her spayed, that may help as well...I got the stray spayed at Spay Houston, and got her all of her shots as well...that I think helped, so someone does not have to worry about that right away. Good luck!!
lol i cant do that im carrying his child and hes been with me longer than the kitten lol and he works so i can shop so i need him around lol do you want the kitten??
I have posted in a lot of ads and we have a 1 bedroom and we have a baby on the way so it would be hard for me to get her spayed and her shots and also a $200 deposit at our apt for her. do you know of anyone who is looking for a kitten so i dont have to take her to a shelter?
maybe they can get used to each other?? It does take awhile for animals to get used of each other. just like a new baby coming home and the older sibling would be jealous.
@Horsemagic: Ditto to what @jrhaecker: said. Your kitty would be very pissed off for a while, but would adapt before too long. My sister just got a new kitten, and her current cat was very mad for a while, but the kitten never gave up, and they are now okay with each other.
Good points. But I guess even if my kitty would adjust I guess after some retrospect I wouldn't want to raise a mischevious kitten...my two-year-old cat is bad enough! Plus that would make for two cats, two dogs and a bird to care for. So I think Kitten would be better with another family, hope shehe gets one.
