Rex has been reunited with his owners. I gave him a bath so he looked and smelled good. He was so happy to be home. He is an outside dog, however, I did find a huge crate on sale at Pets Mart and picked it up in case I would have to foster him longer until I could find him a home. The owners reimbursed me for the crate and said they would set it up in the house and let him come inside. I told them to switch him to a grain free food and his skin should clear right up. I gave him a Trifexis so he is flea free. She said he used to be an inside dog until the kids came, she said he sheds so bad, I told her to switch food, and brush him out once or twice a week. I told her to keep him in the crate in the house at least during the day due to the heat. She said she would, so she took the crate and Rex is home and I am HAPPY!!!!!!

Even with the car wreck, and your life turned topsy turvy you always are there to take in a furry friend who needs a hand.

Thanks Fallon, I just can't help myself. Seems I am always finding dogs on my late night petsitting runs. I swear I have dog radar, lol.

I have no business taking in any dogs, but it breaks my heart when I see them walking or running down a street knowing they are lost. I don't always stop, but labs pull on my heart strings.

Rex was in the middle of the road, it was pitch black and so many cars speed down that section of WLHP, so I would have been crushed if I saw kept driving and then saw him dead on the road, I mean he was black as night, I was surprised I saw him, but he sooo big.

I am just so happy he is home, I don't know what I would have done.
