It's been the worst experience ever. now the water meter where they tapped in is running in the street and we can't get hold of them!! Our neighbor just came over and said her water, along with ours, is muddy!!! They have delayed, made excuses, crew drinking beer in the back yard, and flat out lied to us! And it's still not working or even finished, it's been weeks of headaches, our yard looks like a war zone and we have given then a $800.00 deposit or we would just tell them to get lost!!!
Just a warning from a fellow Kingwood neighbor!

I would say that 20% of the "contractors" around here actually know what the heck they are doing.

You can sue them for the cost to fix the problem from another contractor.  Judge Judy says so.

I really like Tay's Sprinkler.  They put in french drains and we didn't pay a dime until it was all done and over.

First time I saw anyone drinking in my front yard, I would have had the owner come out and refund my money.

I live in NWH and our water has been dirty for 2 days.  Don't know if it is caused by your problem.

The city said Woodland Hills water pump was down for three days and has been replaced now. All the muddy water is supposed to be clear now. Meanwhile my yard is still torn up and my husband just keeps calling the guys with no response!!!! Lovely! Guess our next move will have to be legal, I dunno what to do, they started Monday morning and now haven't seen them for three days!!!!

Hey JYL, you can Yelp them out as well.  Looks like nobody has written about them yet so you can be the first!  Is this them?  http://www.yelp.com/biz/gm-landscaping-and  Also, Angie's List carries user reviews of companies as well.  It's always a good idea to consult w/that site before you hire a contractor.  Ah, the (collective) power of the internet!! ~ Rags
