horrible wreck??

Looks like 2 of the cars were totaled. No one went to the hospital. The driver of a truck hit a car, and in turn that vehicle hit 2 others. I wasn't there but know one of the ladies whose car was hit.
Hopefully everyone has good insurance. But even so, wrecks are just a pia to have to deal with. All in all, everyone was very lucky.

Unfortunately, I was one of the cars involved in this accident. I was in the left lane stopped @ red light. I heard screeching and boom I was hit from behind. I am so bummed, I've only had my car a little over a month. The reared is completely smashed, my entire back window was shattered. I hope there is no frame or suspension damage. I don't want my car to be a total loss. I am so sore today, feel like I took a good tumble down a hill. It could have been alot worse, so thankful everyone is ok.

I don't think he was drunk. Just not paying attention. He hit the car behind the truck that was next to me, so not sure if he hit me or pushed the car he hit into me. It happened so fast.

Who knows......he was in his 40's I think, so wasn't a young kid.
I am just sick about it though, but @ least no one was seriously hurt or killed so very thankful.

Yep Blue told me what had happened.
So sorry about this, and wasn't this your new vehicle?
I hope he has really good insurance and you are not out any money on this. So glad there was no trip to the hospital for you!

Thank u. I have to go ahead and put it under my insurance so I can go ahead and get my car taken care of. It takes 10 days for police report so I would be on my own as far as paying for a rental car. I have such a high deductible, so it's a bummer, but would rather get the ball rolling.

Your insurance can start, but once they get the police report they should be able to get any money they put out from the other guy's insurance.
Do you know if the officer gave the guy a ticket? We learned the hard way to always make sure this happens. The guy we hit, who ran a stop light, didn't get a ticket. And he told his insurance it wasn't his fault. We had a mess, until the 3 witnesses we had and the officer all testified to this being the mans fault.

I heard the police tell someone he did issue a citation to the guy driving the truck who caused the accident.
