His insurance will only pay for the first car he rearended, no the ones he pushed into the other cars. The middle car will have to pay for damage to car in front of it because they failed to keep a safe distance. Texas laws really suck in this. We went through this last year. I just hope for your sake no one has Allstate.

That is incorrect. He will be responsible for it all and the order of payment is who claims first if he does not carry enough liability.

Nope. insurance companies will assigb percentages of fault and pay accordingly. one of my husbands wrecks, the other party was found to be 60% at fault and my husband 40%. their insurance only paid 60% of estimated damages. in texas, regardless of who caused it, if you hit someone from behind, its your fault.

Please everybody!!! Let's all take a vow to drive more safely. Go the posted speed limit, no texting and driving, NO crossing three lanes to make an exit. Driving is a priviledge not a right. Be CAREFUL WITH YOUR LIFE. And, most important, do NOT Drink and Drive. Also, that extra minute you saved risking your life is NOT worth it. Slow down and concentrate on your driving. Kingwood is getting more congested and we must all do our part to keep everyone safe!

Speak on it doodlebug! I hate the way people drive on Northpark... I feel so old now but it pisses me off the way people drive around that area where a lot of kids have to cross to get to the high school...

Thanks.....I tell you what, both of my arms are so sore from holding on to the steering wheel.

The rental car I'm driving does not have electric windows or locks. So odd, but guess I can't complain, at least I have a car to drive. Enterprise told me to check back with them mon and see if they had any other cars available. I miss my Nissan.
