CPS took the kids without legal means, they had every right to go get their daughter back. If any one of us did what CPS did without legal means we would be in jail.

Yes, the parents had every right. My point is why did they take the daughter away in the first place? Why did the judge not sign the order? what happend to the little girl while she's been away from her parents? How many times has this happend to other kids that SHOULD NOT be with their parents but they fall through the CPS red tape/ cracks.

In my line of work if I do not sign an order or rx a patient the wrong medication guess what I am in trouble (fired/ written up). The same should apply to CPS case workers and/ or judges.

DCowboys, all government ran institutions are allowed to play God without consequences, Teachers, dental boards, medical boards, CPS..you name it, if they are state or government run, they can break the same rules that if we broke we would be in jail.

CPS took that kid with out legal rights even AFTER the other childs death was ruled an accident, because they knew that at the most they would get a finger shook at them.

The death of the boy was "accident". There was no reason to take this child away. Its a shame what they have been through. No wonder the judge did not sign....they probably knew they would not get the judge to sign.
I am glad my kids are grown....parents after such an awful thing had to go through more....

CPS does things just to show people they can & what they did was wrong from the start . Those poor parents had just lost one child & CPS came & took the other one without any reason to do so. The judge (if he has any balls at all) should throw the book at CPS , make an example out of them so this does not happen ever again....JMO.

Im 44, I have one about to turn 20 and another that is 7...I ran an In-home daycare for almost 15 years while raising my first, I have worked in day cares and worked with Special ed in the past, I cant tell you how much more difficult and scary it is with my 7 yr old than my 19 yr old. I feel like I have eyes on me 24/7 raising my 7 yr old, I feel Im walking on egg shells compared to when I raised my first. The rules, schools,laws, politics, morals...everything is just overwhelming at times and sucks all the fun out of being a parent at times.
