 Does anybody know where to find a reliable sitter for a 3 year old? Just for evenings when we want to go out to a nice dinner or a movie.

Have you tried www.care.com ? I've got lots of family here willing to sit for me so I've never used that site myself but I hear great things from other people. Good luck!

 Thanks Heathur. I get lots of replies from that site, but most are from people wanting a steady childcare opportunity, not just once in a while.

Ohh that's too bad. I'm not sure about your neighborhood but we get a neighborhood newsletter that has a spot for babysitting with people from the neighborhood who have been checked out are willing to sit. I used to put my name on the newsletter in high school. Maybe your newsletter has something like that?

what area do you live in ? Kingwood ? I know we have alot of high school girls looking for baby sitting jobs  we get flyers all the time .
If you live  close I wouldn't mind watching your little one for a few hours for you . But it would not be a permanent thing as we are listing our home so we can move back  home & be close to our families. You can PM me if you are interested . Iam a grandmother & great grand mother , so Iam very experienced with children of all ages (LOL) .As long as your child is pottie trained , better put that in ...(LOL)
