I have Zydi back home. I got the call at 11 last night. She was sold by Tavarius Williams in the parking lot of Petco in Atascocita last week for $50 to a lady who lives in Dayton and was covered in fleas. She had Advantage II on her so the fact that she had fleas on her tells me that she was in a badly flea infested area. She was also missing some of her hair. She is home and staying home. Thank you for the efforts in trying to find her. We will still be working with the authorities on trying to help the other poor souls this man is keeping and selling around town.

A lady called last night about 11 that had posted an ad trying to help. I didn't even know her. She had seen all the "Warning" ads I had placed on craigslist about this "dog flipper" and "Zydi". A lady who lives in Dayton saw it and she was the one who had purchased "Zydi" and contacted me. I met her this afternoon to get her back. When Zydi and I turned onto Lake Houston Parkway Zydi knew she was back in Kingwood and got really excited. We stopped at Starbucks to "celebrate". Thank you to all who offered encouragement. Myself and others will continue the fight against this predator and keep alerting the authorities. I will not forget the others left behind in this man's "care". Meanwhile watch your pets carefully; I think we have a dog napping ring in the Kingwood area. God bless all of you.

Just wondering though...since you were actively trying to rehome Zydi...did you consider letting the new owner keep her - after doing a home visit, an interview, etc.? Just sayin'

@lola:
Yea I was thinking the same, here is a lady who buys the dog, its legally hers, she misled no one and goes out of her way to get the dog back to the original owner who doesnt want her anymore. I say just by that alone she may be the kind of home the original poster was looking for. Sure hope she was reimbursed for her troubles and honesty! Im not even a chi type person and I'm wanting the poor thing...:-(

You couldn't have said it better, Burnsway! Oddly, I feel VERY sorry for that poor dog.

I hope u treat her like the queen she is. She needs to retire from breeding and just be a spoiled dog. Get her a comfy pink dog bed and healthy treats at pampered paws. Plus lots of walks and love.
Hopefully it's a lesson learned.
