Seeing that F-150 truck laying upside down on top of 2 cars was crazy, it was a very bad scene, sure hope those folks were not hurt but it did not look good, nice to see people directing traffic and trying to help, sure shows a sense of community.
We saw it too. That was an F-150? I just saw the truck on top of the cars from the parking lot of Jason's Deli but couldn't determine the model of the truck.
How the heck does that happen on Kingwood drive? I mean...you have one direction to go and actually you should only have one car to watch and that's the one in front of you. It should be real easy for everyone to get home safely. Geez...slow the hell down people!
Just saw it on KPRC 10 pm news. They said the driver of the burgundy car ran the stop sign. I bet this was right near Walgreens. The last time we were at that section - I said - note to myself - never go across this again. It is too dangerous. They said 2 people were hurt.
I was on North Park last evening at 6 pm at a standstill. I was coming back into Kingwood and there was a bad accident right before Russel Palmer. I saw 2 cars were involved - smashed right through the metal and concrete fence at that car store next to the car wash.
People are texting too much, looking at their phones, etc. Keep your eyes on the road and we will all be safe.
I also observed a car that went right off of Northpark and landed in the middle ditch between the two West and East Roads. I drive this every day and agree people are going to fast and if they are not texting they are talking and if they are not talking they are going in and out of cars. It only takes a short time to lose control everyone....stop and smell the roses before we end up hurt or worse and its to late. Kingwood Drive is worse then Northpark. If I am going the speed limit everyone rides MY %$^*^%.
Lets all be careful ...there are also small baby's and chlidren in these cars you drivers out there
Kingwood Drive and Nort h Park need to have speed patrols set up. Not uncommon to see some people doing 60-70 mph thought the day. That coupled with t exting, deadly.
Wow, I was cussing at a burgandy car that was speeding and had cut me off on KW drive about 3 hours before this happened. I wonder if it was the same car.
It's all ways hard to get in and out of my apartment complex near there. I'm not even far from a light and everyone is going way too fast. It's not a race!
I agree. It's not a race. It's just embarrassing. I would totally smoke y'all.
I've found the biggest distraction to be my GPS unit. Programming it while driving is by far the worst distraction. It really is worth pulling over for.
Hope the injuries weren't to serious. Having a truck on top of you never sounds good.
